Sign-up to Volunteer with the '26-'27 PTO

Are you looking for ways to be more involved, to get to know the staff, to meet other parents, and to give back to our school? There are many volunteer PTO roles that vary from one-time events, positions you can do from home, and roles that have you serve as part of a team or an individual. We welcome new and diverse individuals who can bring fresh ideas and perspectives to continue to enhance our strong PTO community.  Thank you to our current PTO committee chairs for your time, dedication, creativity, and thoughtfulness this year!  The parent involvement truly helps support our staff and students and makes Manchester Elementary an incredible community to be a part of!

School Carnival - Friday, May 8

Come one! Come all! Join in the fun on Friday, May 8 from 5:30-7:30pm!

 

Wristbands are for sale and will be sent home prior to the event to give you access to games, photo booth, airbrush tattoos, colored hair spray, and more! Preorder hamburger, cheeseburger or hotdog meal and the food vouchers will be sent home with the wristbands on May 8 in Friday Folders. Please remember to bring them! Save time and money by pre-purchasing wristbands, meals, and raffle tickets! The price goes up the night of the event!

Cakewalk Donations - 5th Grade is sponsoring the Cakewalk to raise money for next year's Outdoor Education program. Please drop off a store-bought dessert (e.g. cookies, cakes, cupcakes, breads, pies) the morning of Fri, May 8 during morning drop-off or anytime to the school office that day. We'd love to have one donation from every Manchester family. Thank you!

 

Raffle Gift Baskets - You will receive an email from your child's room coordinator with how you can help contribute to the classroom gift baskets for the raffle. We are grateful for you donation items! All proceeds from these fun and creative themed gift baskets come back to our school.

 

 

 

Order School Supply Packs by May 19

Get a head start on next school year and order your '26-'27 school supplies now through Tuesday, May 19! It's a quick and easy option for families to order a complete pack of school supplies for students by grade level for the next school year. The school supply packs are prepackaged and delivered for your convenience. Your student's supplies will be delivered to their desk in time for back-to-school night in August.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures

Nothing is more important than the safety of our children.

Please review and follow Manchester's traffic plan. 

 

A few of the most commonly broken expectations are:

  • Students must be dropped off curbside in the designated drive-through lane. Please do not drop off at the stop signs, along the road, or in no-parking zones (follow street signs). To make the drop off line run smoother please direct your child to exit the vehicle when the line stops. Students on the side of the building use the EKC door during indoor Walking Club days.

  • Drivers must turn right into the drive-through lane. NO LEFT TURN 8:00 - 8:30 AM and 3:00 - 3:30 PM as POSTED on the street sign.

  • Students may only cross the street at the crosswalk or within the neighborhood off of the Manchester property. The crosswalk is the only approved crossing point on the Manchester property.
